Salesforce

Salesforce is the CRM used by many sales teams. With Salesforce Flows, an admin can trigger an InputKit sequence send directly from a Flow, turning any step in your sales process into an opportunity to gather feedback.

What the Salesforce integration with InputKit allows

With Salesforce Flows, your team can trigger InputKit sequence sends directly from your existing processes:

  • A Salesforce admin creates an Apex class that calls the InputKit API to send a sequence, triggered from within a Flow
  • The call is added on an Async Path (Run Asynchronously) branch of the Flow, so it doesn't slow down the main process
  • The API key, location ID, and sequence ID are passed along, with the creation source set to Salesforce
  • Contact details (email, phone, first/last name, locale) can be pulled from the triggering record or a prior step in the Flow
  • This approach requires Salesforce admin access with an Enterprise, Performance, or Unlimited license
  • InputKit's API endpoint (api.inputkit.io) must be authorized in Salesforce's Remote Site Settings

This integration is more technical than InputKit's plug-and-play connections: it requires a Salesforce admin or developer to create an Apex class.
